Here is provided the full list of datasets that we used to collect the piRNA sequences stored on our database. We like to clarify that only datasets that use specific methodologies to detect piRNAs are selected by our team. However, some exceptions are accepted, like sequences from a smallRNA-Seq or miRNA-Seq that had additional step to filter or predict piRNAs using softwares. We also look for strict filter and reliable softwares applied on these sequencing data due to amount of other short RNA sequences that are included on these studies. We apply these criteria to fullfil our main objetive, that is to have quality instead of quantity of sequences of piRNAs.
Accessing any item, you will be redirected to the choosen dataset information, including ordinary statisthics, authors, amount os piRNA associated, methodology, tissues and more data. It is also provided a list with as piRNAs found on this dataset and their links.
You are able to choose how many itens do you want to display in each page on the selection box of "Filter" section. In the same section, you could choose to display only itens from one specific organism of interest.
